This bay front home was the Long time residence of Island business owners Jim & Kathy Gloth.
Like many older homes on the Island it had great views but had long since lost its curb appeal and was quite dated.
Our plan was to renovate the home in stages. The first phase included a new 2 story entry feature and renovations to the garage. The second phase was much more extensive and included a whole new pitched roof truss system built over the old flat roof system while they continued to live in the home. This was done utilizing a unique helical coil foundation tie down system and continuous strapping tied to the new roof system.
Many interior finishes were added which included the heavy use of new colonial casings and trim. The exterior received new decks, trellis, and paver pathways. Once completed with all the new changes and finishes the home is almost unrecognizable. Most import though, the Gloth's couldn't be happier.
